Holy crap! My pet bug was fixed! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!

Now I can get rid of that copy of version 0.6.2 that I kept around!

Incidentally the bug was a problem with some obscure audio format I've only seen used in DVDs published by Avex Trax, a Japanese music label. Now my discs play perfectly!

Is there any chance that it will be possible to play these WMV3 files in the near future that no one is able to play except those who buy flip4mac? It's getting f*cking irritating to not being able to watch them.

Mine wasn't

My pet bug is that when playing m2t files the scrub bar thinks it is way longer than it actually is. So you start playing and jump to the end, and the playhead asymptotically races to the left side. If after a few seconds of playing you try to scrub to near the end of the file, it thinks you've jumped far beyond the end of the file and stops playing. It looks like as time goes by, the length of the file (according to just the scrub bar) gets longer and longer, probably geometrically. I'm keeping 0.7 around just for playing m2t files because of this.

I have to say that not ALL tivo files are supported. Just the first few generations of them.

That's fine by me. The ones that are supported today are more than were supported last week.

Does this mean you can view files off your TiVo? I have a Series 2 TiVo that I can see in Bonjour. How can you do this?

So far it doesn't work with the Tivo2Go videos unfortunately. Hopefully in time...

Am I the only one or is VLC extremely unstable since 0.8?
It crashes every second time when I open a movie - especially MPEGs!
I still have 0.7.2 and this version does not crash at all (that's why I think it's VLCs and not my fault)...

vlc always ran well for me. Only issue I ever had was with it crashing in Tiger after exiting fullscreen. That has been fixed with .8.2
