I imported my mail with some trouble. When I imported I had more than 2000 junk messages in my junk folder. As it turns out, my panther mail wasn't set to delete retrieved messages. Since I can't figure out how to import Panther's junk mail filtering or any of my rules, I have 2000 junk messages alongside all my legit messages in inbox. Maybe the stupidity is mine and not Mail's, but I feel that Apple did a lousy job with the import feature. Seems logical they would include a flawless importer for such a common configuration as the previous version of their own software.
The issues are as follow:
-Junk mail filter seems only to work as messages are received, not post facto
-The need to import my already 'taught' junk filter from panther
-The need to import my routing rules

Oh, it might have confused the Mail that I did a backup and erase->install (Panther was rotting). Sorry if my tone is a bit abrasive here, and thanks in advance for any help.
Arthur
