hey all

I've got some old podcasts in my library. Now I subscribe to yhe podcast through the Music Store. I'd like move the old podcasts from the "library" place to the "podcast" place -- and thus have the files stored in the itunes-->podcast folder.

is there any way to do this?

thanks thanks

I have no idea what you're talking about... but try going to iTunes preferences and having iTunes keep your music organized – it works with Podcasts too.

Here's the deal. Before iTunes handled Podcasts, I would download the mp3 Podcast of "In Our Time" every week. So, in my Library I have several of these Podcasts. (Listed under Library -- > BBC Radio 4 --> In Our Time....and thus stored in that folder, too.)

Now, I subscribe to In Our Time via the iTunes Store. When it gets new episodes, it downloads them to a special Podcast folder, in Library --> Podcasts. These files are treated differently. They do not show up in "Library," but are listed under the "Podast" manu.

So, now I have two sets of In Our Time podcasts -- the old ones (in Library), and the new ones (in Podcasts). I want to combine them, so the old ones are listed with the new ones under the Podcast menu.

Any ideas?

-Thanks

Sadly, this is impossible.

The podcasts playlist is a dynamic playlist, that can not have individual mp3s/aacs added to it.

The only way you could get everything in one list would be to keep doing it the way you did before 4.9.

Owl: thanks.

Apple: LAME! Do you think we only started using podcasts last week?!
