All I need is a simple (?) application that would enable me to cut a downloaded movie into 2 sections. The entire movie is too large to be burned onto one DVD disk.

Can anyone suggest one?

Why split the movie when you can keep it intact. Roxio Popcorn will put the entire movie on one disc. Recommended.
