I keep all my music accessable on my old G4 Cube, so any iTunes program on my network can play the same music. With the update to 4.9, all the music is still there, but Podcasts aren't showing up. Anyone know how to share out the Podcasts so I can avoid subscribing on multiple machines?

"Doc, it hurts when I do this."
"Don't do that."

the iTunes podcasting FAQ addresses the original question. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301880

4.9 was a step backwards for me. I've been listening to podcasts since last fall, using a Smart Playlist to get the most recent half dozen with play count of 0 at the start of my Shuffle's playlist. Now Smart Playlists ignore podcasts, and so does Bonjour sharing.

I was so pleased with the 4.9 podcasting integration concept, but the execution stinks.

Surely whatever app you were using before to receive Podcasts still works?

Sure. I just thought 4.9 would make my podcast experience better, and it doesn't. It would be great if I was willing to invest in a new ipod, but my shuffle and 2G ipod work just fine, so no thanks.
