I just downloaded Camino and set it as my default browser. So far it's been great, except for one problem. Any Flash content I run into is rendered by QuickTime, and not by the Flash plugin located in my Library plugins folder. This causes all sorts of rendering issues. I checked "Installed Plug-Ins" and true enough the darned plugin is in fact installed and Recognized by Camino. So why is QuickTime being used instead? How do I fix this?

Nevermind. Got it. If anyone else wants to know I'll share the solution. Anyway...

I've got another problem. Specifically, it has to do with this forum. With all the animated gif smileys appearing on the screen at once (in reply and new thread pages), my typing slows to a crawl. The only way I can fix this is by hiding them from view, by resizing the window to a smaller size. Does anyone know if there's a better way to deal with this? I know Safari has a similar problem, but it appears to be more prominent in Camino! Bleh...

Just happened to find a solution in another Forum for this condition and it worked for me. Check it out and download here: http://www.nada.de/mac/camino/cep.html

After installing, open the Camino preferences and disable the 'image animation' option.
