Help with QuickTime Pro 7.0.1

	I just got QuickTime Pro 7.0.1 and I am trying to export a movie from there to my DV camera, which I haven't figured out how yet, well the movie I am wanting to export is an AVI movie and when QuickTime plays it the audio crackels and jumps and goes silent for a few seconds at a time, the picture also tends to pause here and there. Are there any plugins or components that I should download? I already installed the software updates I recieved right after I got Pro but it still does the same thing.
