hi all. i just got a new 12" pb and am setting up my work email. i installed entourage v.x and the exchange configuration pretty much sucked. nothing like outlook for the config options. anyway, as i am struggling to figure out how to get it to connect to my exchange server i began wondering if it would just be better to use mail/ical/adress book. if i read right, i can sync all these with my exchange server right?

three questions:
1) any input on what works better- mail 2.0 or entourage- when using an exchange server?

2) how do i set up entourage? any resources that will help with this?

3) will entourage v.x work, or do i need to get entourage 2004?

thanks for the help!

You really need to go with Entourage 2004. It's much better than X. I had to do very little, if any, manual configuration short of my personal info. It went out, found the Exchange server and all was good.

I've never used mail.app in conjunction with an Exchange server, though.

[Off Topic]

Why does Entourage:2004 not include an "Out of Office" feature?

Just plain silly.
