Ok, So... can anyone tell me how to convert a ACC file to Mp3?

without the "burn-a-Cd-and-then-import-to-iTunes" method?

1) Launch iTunes
2) Open the Preferences pane (Apple + , with the keyboard, or Menu bar -> iTunes -> Preferences)

3) Click on the Importing section
4) Select MP3 Encoder from the drop-down menu beside Import Using
5) Tweak the Settings according to your quality/file-size needs, then click OK

6) Back in the Library, select the songs you want to convert (Shift + click to select a few songs in a row, or Apple + click to select different songs)

7) Menu bar -> Advanced -> Convert selection to MP3

Notes:
- Converting from AAC to MP3, i.e. from a compressed, lossy file to another lossy file will result in yet more loss in quality. It is advisable to rip the CDs again as far as possible, or leave the files alone.
- The Convert selection to... option will depend on which encoder you have selected in the Preferences pane

Yah that was actually a pretty quickly ending question. Now a better question would be is when will we see Gapless playback, or more options in party shuffle, smart play lists etc. Or when will the iTMS Canada's Inspirational section stop being run by someone's grandma...

iTMS files won't work using this method, since the whole point is that they are AAC files with Digital Rights Management - to prevent you from sharing your purchased music.

There is software out there to circumvent this, however it's your call whether you use it or not since it would be considered illegal.

I Just bought an Archos Multimedia Personal player, and I upload 129 CDs on it in HQ Mp3 files, the only files I Can't transfer on it are the ACC that I get from iTMS, they are mine, I pay for it, and I just want to have my music files inside my Archos! could you tell me about any software for that job, I will not share it, its my stuff and I want it inside my new toy.
