Does anyone have any idea how to correct this problem? I am using OS X 10.4 with safari and WMP 9. When I try to use streaming video at accuweather.com or Yahoo (which uses the accuweather videos) I get an "unable to connect to proxy" error. I can play it on my other powerbook with 10.3.9 without any problems. I have already:
-reinstalled windows media player
- turned off firewall in the network options in the systems preferences
- attempted to open directly with WMP

Something weird about that url.

That URL is no longer active. Any of the weather videos at Yahoo.com do the same thing:

http://weather.yahoo.com/

check any of the videos on the left .

No problem for me. Check the WMP settings if you've got it set to use a proxy server (and if so, try disabling it).
