Hi,

I'm trying to find a good java program. a while back I was using lynix, and there was a cool program that hilights for you and it compiles nicely called kate. I was wondering if anyone knew of a program like this for mac. thanks

Never mind, I have found what I am looking for. just in case anyone cares, there is Applescript studio.

I've now discoverd that this program is not free. Does anyone know of anything free? thank.

Xcode? Eclipse? Emacs? The first is included with the Mac OS X install discs, and the latter two are extremely popular programming tools. There are a whole lot of text editors and IDEs with varying levels of complexity.
