Where can I find a good program to clip large mp3 files into 15-20 second files that can be used as ringers on my cellphone? My Motorola plays mp3 so I will need only to create a small clip.
I use a program called Audacity to do this type of thing although I am sure there are other options available... You can find it here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
To export mp3s you actually need a small little plug in that you should stick in your Audacity folder in your applications folder (or where ever you keep it) called LAMElib... and you can find that here: http://spaghetticode.org/lame/
Audacity doesn't have the most refined interface but it is free and does the job quite well.
