I have 5 POP accounts setup in Mail and had signatures for all of them under Panther. Since upgrading to Tiger, only 2 of my 5 accounts show up in the Signatures pref pane. Why is this? I can't see any difference between those accounts and the others. How can I get my signatures back?

Do your signatures have graphics in them by chance?

Nope, just text. I can create signatures in the Preference pane, but only 2 accounts even show up so I can only drag the signatures to those 2.

Anybody else have this problem? Deleting prefs doesn't seem to fix it.

I've tried lots. Deleted & rewrote...nothing. have you fould a solution other than reinstalling Tiger?

Yes, ther eis a simple solution which I found on the MacFixit forums I believe. If I recall, you go to the Accounts pane and uncheck "Include this account when checking mail". Close the preferences, then open again and re-check the same pref. It asks you to save the account. Close once more and the signatures should work. I guess this forces a re-write of the prefs or something.
