So I made an extremly simple Automator flow that finds all files in a folder (btw, anyone know a better way to select all files in a particular folder other than an automator find?) and moves them to another folder. It works great when I click play in Automator, but when I save it as an application and then run it, the application does nothing. If I go in and turn on the "Show Action When Run" option, save it as an app and click continue on each step, it works just fine.

Anybody got any ideas? Is this a bug?

Save it as a Finder plug-in.

Hmmm...didn't seem to help, and to be honest that wouldn't work anyway. What I want is for the the automator script to run at a specific time each day and to move files from one folder to another without me. And yes, I did try it as an iCal Plug-In as well.

Thanks anyway.

For anyone who cares or might be having the same problem:

On an Automator specific forum, we determined that while it is indeed a bug that my original script didn't work, we were able to select all from a folder by using get specified finder items and then get folder contents. Using this method I was able to save as an app and it works perfectly.
