Hey guys,

I was wondering what RSS Feeder/News Aggregator people use?

Here's the catch: I have to use this for both home and work, and my work computer is unfortunately a PC. Therefore, as much as I'd like to use a mac-based program, I cannot do it at work, and will probably need to use a web-based client.

I was using Bloglines, but, unfortunately, it only scans for stories each hours. My job calls for immediate response, and I can't afford to wait an hour.

Any ideas?

Also, if there's a REALLY kickass Mac program, I suppose I can use a mac-based at home, and a web-based at work. But that'd be really, REALLY annoying.

Thanks guys - you all rock, and have rocked for quite some years.

- Brad

Checked. Talks about downlaodable programs, not web-based.

Having said that, I don't use RSS feeds often enough to recommend anything. I usually just search VersionTracker.com for "RSS".

You could always code your own webpage to collect your RSS feeds, ala dailyrotation.com.

Feed on Feeds is one option, assuming you have access to your own webserver and knowledge on how to configure it. It's still relatively early in the development cycle, but usable. It relies on a cron job to schedule RSS updates, so you can configure it to update as often as you like. Manual updates are also supported.
