All of a sudden, since upgrading to 10.4.2 - I noticed I no-longer have the "Layered" or "stacked" icon that shows that I can participate or start a multi-person chat... nor do I SEE those icons in my buddy list any more. Am I the only one...?

cannot figure out if I no-longer have that option now - or if they just changed the icon(s). I clearly have the spec's to do a multi-person. I am running a dual 2.5GHz G5 using an iSight with 3Mb DSL connection.

Very odd.
Help (?)

DUH! Nevermind - I simply trashed the pref's and relaunched and the icons and ability to multi-chat came back.

Very odd.

Suxx. Just imagine that every update would require you to trash .plists.

It happens occasionally for me also. Didnt need to trash the prefs tho. Either re-connecting, or at worst, restarting iChat usually solves it.
The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.
