On PC I use Rainlendar but are there any apps on Mac OSX similar to this where you can input events and it can be put on your desktop?

1. It's "Mac," not "MAC."
2. Combine iCal with iCalViewer.

They didn't say "MAC" anywhere... And the forum does not indicate that they edited their post, though maybe they did, but what the hell does any of it have to do with this post? So maybe try turning the zealot knob in your brain down a few notches
For something that actually matters somewhat, iCal is a great app, and though I do not exactly recall any, I am sure I have seen more than one app that will display your calendar/upcoming events on your desktop, etc.

Do you have tiger? If you do, there are widgets that will display your upcoming events. If you dont have tiger, or if you just want ur items on the desktop, icalviewer would work like wataru suggested

It's in the thread title.
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with correcting a mistake like that. I think it's being helpful instead of critical.

Can you not read the title? Maybe you need to deal with your own head before giving others advice on theirs. What an ass
