i posted about this problem a couple of days ago but now it has started happening again and it is with real player also. i have no clue what to do... the rest of my sound works, im assuming it has something to do with codecs but i know nothing about them

Are your running other applications when the problem is happening ?

Have you visited Real's web site, and see if there is an update or a solution to your problem posted there ?
