hi all. did a search and only found problems with mail to outlook. i am getting meeting requests sent to me by co-workers using outlook 2003. i get the .ics file in the email, but when i click on it or i ctrl-click and select "add to ical" it does nothing. it will switch windows to ical, but the appointment does not get updated. i should note that this specific problem is with meeting updates- moving a regular meeting from one time to another.

any experience with this? thanks.

I am assuming you are using Panther. This never worked for me as well. The meetings would add just fine, but if a co-worker sent me an update that changed the time of the meeting, iCal would become active but the appointment would never change. You have to just manually drag it to the new time.

Count yourself lucky however as .ics files don't even show up in Tiger through email. Instead you get a *-*-*-*-*-* and nothing else. Mighty frustrating when you are working on a campus run by exchange server.

sorry, i forgot to add the important version details. i am using tiger, along with the current versions of mail and ical (2.0.2). sounds like the same thing is happening in panther though. luckily, i am getting the .ics attachments via mail though.
