anyone know of a free or shareware app that will 'read' a scanned graph and produce a fairly accurate representation of the original data in a X Y coordinate table? Original data is long gone but the plot is still around. Need more than the rough data you can pull from it by eye.
I can sample (i.e. scan) at high resolution to obtain a 1000 lpi representation of the graph but would rather let a program pull the XY data than overlay a grid in PS and go blind pulling out the XY data myself.
