Hiding hidden folders in Mail.app

Currently using Mail for my IMAP account. My account has several "hidden" folders (ones that begin with a '.') that is used by the webmail access. However, Mail is showing all of them. Is there a way to remove these from being displayed in Mail without actually deleting them from my mail directory on the server?
