Suitcase X11 crashing on launch

I just installed Suitcase X11 on a clean install of 10.3.9. When I launch it, it tries to initialize, and the barber pole spins indefinitely, and it reports as "Not responding" a few seconds after launch. The media is alright, as it works on other computers. Anyone have any ideas?
