Has anyone figured out a way to burn DVD-Rs so that PCs can read them? I have a powerbook G3 (OSX 2.7). Apparently it can't be done using the finder - unless someone has figured out a secret way???

Or - has anyone found a third party software that works? thanx, yvonne

By the way - I'm talking about downloading photos that are high resolution in TIFF format (or JPEG would work too). The images were captured with a Nikon D1X and then transferred to the powerbook with a memory card reader into the Nikon browser.

What system version are you running? Do you mean 10.2.7? I know that in 10.3 and now Tiger just dragging the files into a mounted empty disc and the dragging the disc to the Trash will burn a PC compatible disc. It's been too long to remember about 10.2 but I think that's how I did it.
