Hey,
you guys are smart. I want to use ffmpegX program to turn an avi file to put on a dvd to play on a dvd player. This program gives me sooooo many options to change a file into I dont know which one to use to convert the file!?! Could someone please help me out? Ive tried reseaching and have just gotten more confused. Thank you

Yeah, I have checked that place and just have got more confused. I just need to know what file type to select out of all of the options that ffmpegx gives you

Drop the .avi file in the left-hand summary window. From the drop-down on the right, select one of the DVD (either ffmpeg or mencoder). Hit "encode."
