I've started to noticed this- select a song from the play list and the HD begins to grind and pointer goes to a beachball. then it goes away and the song plays fine. Until I pick another song. Same thing happens it occurs for about 10 secs. I have about 3.5 GB left. I started to notice this after the 10.4.2 update. Is this happening to anyone else?

It seems to fix itself if I restart iTunes. Just wondering.....
