Good Scanner Utility?

	Tiger seems to have deprived my all-in-one Epson CX5400 of scanner functionality. The thing prints just fine, but the scanner software--which has always sucked--now seems not to function. I wonder if there's a decent third party scanner utility? I imagine not as these things tend to be proprietary, but I thought I'd float this out there and see.
