Quick question... We just got Final Cut Studio. Running on a G5 iMac, we have 1.5gb in there but the only problem is we only have aound 30gb or so left. Hence, I need to get an external drive for future use. But I ordered it and it comes next week. I want FCS now! So I was wondering if I could do this: Out of all the programs, I use Soundtrack the least. Therefore, I was hoping I could save a few gigs by not installing the Apple Loops for Soundtrack Pro disc. I realize Soundtrack is with FCP 5, but I really don't need the loops part now. Could I install the rest of the Studio (FCP 5, Motion, DVD Studio Pro, Livetype and its data) and just the Soundtrack program without its loops. I figure this would hold me over with a few gigs until the external HD comes. But then my last question is can I insert the FCS install disc again and from there, just check Soundtrack Pro and loops, and install them, so I will have the entire studio? thanks for the replies.
PS... not too sure what forum to put this in... sorry if its wrong!
