Hi there.
I've had the latest iPhoto ever since it came out, but until now, never used the cool editing feature. I thought I'd give them a shot tonight, so I got a couple of photos that I thought I could make better, and first set about trying to make a portrait of my friend and I look 'lo fi'. I turned sharpness all the way down to give it a nice blur, changed the angle, and turned the tint all the way green. It looked really great, nicely bad if you see what I mean. So anyway, happy with it, I wanted to move on to the next picture. However, after the 'saving changes' box had dissapeared, right before the next picture came up, for a flash of a second I saw the picture change to different settings. I quickly went back to the picture and it seems the settings, although they had been changed, looked quite differnet from how I had set them. The picture was still quite sharp, and the green tint looked a bit different from how I had set this.
The point of my post is this: when you are adjusting those settings, is the live update just a (very) rough idea of what the picture will look like rather than the real thing? Because I seem unable to keep the picture how I want it.
(My computer is a 1.5 Powerbook and my camera is an old 2.0 megapixel exilim.)
Any help or advice is much appreciated.
