Unison
Certain online Usenet search engines can generate .nzb files. These files contain the specific download information for a whole batch of items, and allow you to queue up said downloads very quickly. Unison supports these files.

To use a .nzb file with Unison, simply double click the .nzb file on your computer. Unison should launch and automatically add the items to the Download queue.

A really simple program is nzbget
I'm not sure if its being developed any more, but it works pretty well.

If your not afraid of the command line then you could also try nzbperl
If has alot of options for configuring it to your taste.

Good Luck

I agree, Unison is the way to go on this.
