Hi,

I'm going to be buying a used ibook with a few applications installed on the harddrive. Some have the original install cd, but some others don't. In the future, i'm going to want to buy a powerbook. Is there any possible way to transfer applications that i have on my ibook over to a new mac, if i don't have the original install cd?

if they both got firewire just connect the two and restart the old one holding T.
will put the image of the old ibook on the new powerbook.
on the new image just drag and drop all the old applications to the new applications

This will copy all your applications. as for your keys for some programs it wont so you will still need those.
