Did a forum search, but couldn't find anything. I'm hoping that someone can offer me some guidance on this one. I am making a DVD, using iDVD, of my aunt's 60th BDay party. Everything looks great so far, I have some music, the pictures & some movies from the party. My cousin did a PowerPoint show about my Aunt's life & I wanted to include that on the DVD. I converted the show to a quicktime movie, and it worked fine. Here's the problem. The powerpoint, without narration, is somewhat boring, so I'd like to add a soundtrack. I tried to add a soundtrack in PP 2004, but it doesn't ever play, not sure why, but in the movie settings, I set up a soundtrack, but it never works. Next thing was export to Keynote 2, and export to quicktime from there. Works great, but when keynote exports a movie, it has a seperate soundtrack file, which apparently contains all the audio. I drag the keynote/quicktime file onto idvd so that when you click the file name, it opens up the movie. Everything appears fine, the music plays when I preview it, but when I burn it, the music doesn't show up. I've tried to set the music file as the background audio in idvd, but when you import a movie as I did, you can't adjust the background audio, as the movie soundtrack (takes over)

Any ideas on how to get around this.

MacOSXHints.com is your friend

Short story, you need to get Quicktime Pro if you don't already have it.
