After I enter an event on the calendar I go to the Info Drawer to set the alarm. I point to Alarm and click but when the pop-up pops up it's grayed out. WTF?

The left ("Alarm") or the right ("None") popup menu?

Nail on the head, Judge. Thank you. Apples Help says point to Alarm and click. I should have known to try to point to None just to see what happened. Now I see that you have to select the alarm type first and then say to add it. A bit bass-ackwards but- Think Different!
