Hi! I have a conversation I'd like to email somebody, but apparently iChat only saves conversations in a totally proprietary format that is totally effing useless. WAY TO GO APPLE!
So anyway, I found this:
http://www.weltschmerz.org/ictc/
And .... nothing. I drag stuff onto the app, and it just sits there. It doesn't even do anything. Any ideas?

Copy and paste the text into text editor? I don't use iChat, but all the other chat programs I've used let you select anything you want to and then copy it for use as plain (or even formatted) text anywhere else.

Yeah, open the conversation file in iChat, copy, paste.

You're right, not with "Show Pictures" selected under the View menu. Change it to "Show Names" and you can copy the chat with names intact.
