I have used the Missing Sync for my Treo 650 in the past with good success. Recently, I can't seem to install programs. I have the most recent Tiger updates, most recent Missing Sync version and the most recent firmware and software on the Treo.

Whenever I try to hotsync using bluetooth- it seems to run for a while, and the connection gets lost during the install of an application (such as ePocrates). The install window just hangs there with a spinning ball even after I force quite the Missing Sync.

Anyone have similar issues? Any suggestions?

So you're using TMS 4.0.6 correct? Does a USB sync go ok? Have you tried logging off/on again on your Mac and done a soft reset on the Treo?

Using all the latest stuff. Stripped everything off- uninstalled palm desktop and TMS and reinstalled. Didn't work. Tried a variety of things. Could not USB sync either. Then, suddenly while trying something, I got a kernal panic and had to force shutdown. After that- everything worked fine. It was crazy- almost like the system had to purge itself of all the evil humors. Once it vomited, everything was calm.....

Strange.
