I have a PowerMac and a PowerBook, and use both frequently. Having just lost a hard drive in my PM, along with all the data on it (fortunately I had a fairly recent backup), I'm currently trying to get all my data mirrored daily between the two computers.
Having sorted out the backups of all my documents, and grumbled about the lack of software to sync the address book and calendar well (I ended up having them active on my PB, and backed up on the PM), I've turned my eye to Mail.
Last time I looked at the folder structure was back in Panther, when it was stored as one file per mailbox. Tiger seems to have changed this - I now see individual files per email. Does this mean that if I sync the mail folder between the two computers (syncing deletions as well as new files / edited files), any changes I make on either computer will survive? E.g. if I send a mail from my desktop, then get a new mail on the laptop, will both still be there after I've synced?
Thanks,
