this can be sorted out easily on pc. convert your document to word format first, then add your text, finally convert it back to pdf format.

regarding how to do it on mac, i have no idea.

I don't know, but There are a few for the Mac.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

PDFpen is a good OS X program that lets you do all kinds of editing to PDF files.

In Acrobat you need to add a text annotation.

Actually the Preview app will do this. Just use the pen markup tool.

OmniGraffle can also import a PDF into a object, and then you can have other objects above it then push it back out to another PDF. Not the most elegant of solutions, but it does work.

Shouldn't Acrobat or perhaps Illustrator be capable of this? (poster says he has CS2, so...)
