I'm looking for a high quality fitness monitoring program. I spent about 20 minutes looking around on the web - I found crosstrainer. Downloaded the demo and ran it in Virtual PC. It's great - just what I'm looking for but it is slow.

I suppose I could just create my own excel spreadsheet.

Any other suggestions?

I did a search just last week and found a magazine article (I can't remember the year and in fact I'm not sure I even noticed that!) that reviewed many different software programs, both PC and Mac. There was even an accompanying chart that listed all the different attributes of the various programs.

I am not at that computer, and am not even sure I saved anything from the search in any case. But I will look in a bit and post back if I find the article and a link. It was pretty comprehensive.

I don't have Virtual PC so you have options I do not. You're in better shape, inf act, b/c I think in any case, most of the features tended to be on teh PC side of the aisle.

You might want to check version tracker and MacUpdate, too, because I know there are at least a couple programs people have talked about. One was just updated last week, I believe.

Thanks. I found that too (I think I found the same one at least ). I am now using program called "BodyFit DB." I don't think it has a schedule - I haven't found that yet if it does. But it seems like it will be a great way to track exercises, heart rate, weight and other vitals. It also has nice charts and graphs to indicate how much of my goal I have achieved - this is what I was looking for.

I will post again if I find something better.

Barry
