Since I have installed it my Mac (MDD 1,25GHz&GB RAM, 10.4.2) is behaving really slow. Is this a coincidence or are you feeling it??

When it pulls things up, it seems to pull them up very quickly and it is definetely snappy in
going from webpage to webpage.

HOWEVER.....I've notice sometimes I'll click on a link and nothing happens.

Then I'll click again. Nothing happens.

I'll wait a minute and still nothing.

I'll back out, relaunch click on the same link - it comes up.

Annoying. What the heck? I might download a fresh copy.

Opera is now free for everyone, folks. Not sure what I think of it. The UI is a bit bizarre.

I saw that too. Now I think I may just have to check it out to see if it's worth the fuss.

Opera rocks! It shows CSS in the scrollbars, like IE for Windows. Now I don't need to run VPC to see client websites!

It actually makes pretty good use of Mac technologies, but it's still a bit odd when it comes to UI design.

Lol, it still doesn't work right with frames. Opera is the only browser I've found that messes up my website - Safari, Firefox, Omniweb and Explorer all work fine. I know I should use CSS and I'll get round to it but I like using it to test browsers because there will be other sites out there that use frames. Some nice features but it's a bucket job for me.

I'm sort of glad they made it free but nearly all the other browsers have been free for years.

Yup frames. I remember it messing up frames in version 7 too. It made streaky lines all down it when you scrolled. This time it's a lot worse. Some buttons and content don't show up.

Is there a way to rearrange the toolbars?

yes, right click on the toolbars and select the toolbar tab, if the toolbar is highlighted then you can specify where the placement is.
