Hello All ..

I have a few applications that I should make copies of for protection in case my hard disk goes.

I was wondering ... for something like Quicken that came with my laptop .. what's the best way to make a complete copy for safekeeping? ....

If it's properly written, you should just be able to copy the application bundle and it'll work. If it acts like a Windows program and installs crap in different places, who knows.

Do a spotlight search. Copy all to disk.

Yup. Either that or copy the source on the original installation disc or the disc itself.
