I am helping some people convert flash movies to PSP. I got "Magical Trevor" over by using Snapz Pro. I made this a long time ago. What I did was I opened the flash movie and recorded it using Snapz. However, when I did this again (much later) with a different flash movie (Crab Battle) the video and audio were out of sync on the PSP and it was choppy in the middle because Snapz takes up a lot of memory and slowed down the movie.

This was a really roundabout way of doing things anyway and I wanted to know. Is there a .swf to video(.avi, .mpg, .mov, .etc) converter on the internet for mac? If not is there an easier way to make .swfs into movie files??? I have all the Macromedia MX 2004 programs including Flash MX 2004 so maybe theres something in that??? I don't know...

If the flash movies are compatible with Flash 5, you can open the .swf file with Quicktime Pro and save it as MPEG4. Newer Flash files are unfortunately not supported by Quicktime.

You could also try to use a worse compression algorithm for Snapz Pro, so that it doesn't take that much CPU resources and when the movie is finished, open the file with Quicktime Pro and compress it properly.

But theres like menus and and stuff you have to click on before you get to the movie so straigh converting in in Quicktime Pro probably wouldn't work. Also, I downloaded Crab Battle and it didn't open in QuickTime Pro.
