Well as the topic above states i'm curious to find out whether anybody knows if this is actually going to be released or not.

Originally I heard that this would have been released about July this year, however we are now way past that point and there is no sign of its existence on Microsoft's websites at all.

Have any of you wise/knowledgable people anything in relation to the SP2's existence. If you do know of it would you also know what features/issues/bugs etc. that the release is supposedly going to resolve.

I'm just trying to find out as there are a few issues our company are having with Entourage that are supposed to be fixed in this update.

Thankyou all for your help in advance.

Matt

Have you any detail re where you heard that? Was it posted by M$, some rumor site, or, is it merely an unfortunate consequence of the cooking sherry?

Well nothing's surer than that they need to release another update, to stop Word beachballing to infinity at random yet not infrequent intervals. But they seem to be concentrating on advertising the features over and over again at mactopia ... which is funny as you'd think they'd fix stuff so they could be proud advertising it. Mind you, I guess they've been advertising Windows for years....

I'm doubting it will ever come. Maybe iLife '06 will have Pages 2 with proper Word compatibility and then we can all not have to buy from MS again.
