For people not familiar with iTrip, it is the most popular iPod accessory and allows you to play music off your iPod in your car (or other FM radios). The problem is that it puts 103 fake song files into your iTunes library. These would get played in shuffle mode, etc and it would be annoying.

In iTunes 5, there is an new preference in the song's information/options to skip the song when shuffling. This means the iTrip songs won't have to be in your library any more with the rest of your music. They'll still be there, but will be skipped. This is great news, but unfortunately this option is not there when you select multiple song files.

Instead of manually setting this option for each of the 103 songs, there is a nice new applescript out that lets you select multiple tracks and use this.

Set Selected Tracks Shuffle Applescript.

Thought this was worth a mention, I haven't seen this posted anywhere before.
