Was this a plugin for QuickTime to allow it to play WMV files or did you install Windows Media Player?

Try removing it. It should be in /Library/QuickTime/
I would suggest using MPlayer or VLC (search at versiontracker.com). If you really need to watch WMV9 you might have to download WMP9 or wait for VLC to include WMV9.

Obviously that video will open quicktime as it is in a quicktime format.

You need to provide more information if you want people to help you with your QuickTime problem. Tell us what exactly you did install (give a link to the program), tell us what exactly you did delete (every file you trashed), tell us what exactly the problem is, which movie files you encounter the problem with (give us a link), tell us what you already did trying to troubleshoot the problem etc. pp.

I installed this
I removed: Library/Quicktime/forgot filename
Library/internet-plugins/forgot filename
The WMV Player Prefpane
The Application Wmv Player
The Problem is, that i don't here any sound on ANY video.
I tried to remove all the quicktime plists, but it didn't help.
@mdc: i wont download ANYTHING that has to do something with quicktime again.

OK, what you installed came with the following files, that you should check that all are deleted:
/Applications/WMV Player.app
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Flip4Mac WMV Plugin.plugin
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Flip4Mac WMV Plugin.webplugin
/Library/PreferencePanes/WmvPlayer.prefPane
/Library/QuickTime/Flip4Mac WMV Import.component
The next step is to try to trash the QuickTime preferences
~/Library/Preferences/QuickTime Preferences
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.quicktimeplayer.plist
If that doesn't help, then the next step is to create a new user in System Preferences->Users, log into that user and try if QuickTime works correctly there.
If it does not work in a new user even, then you should trying to reinstall QuickTime
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/mac.html
(I'm not sure whether this installs on Tiger, but you'd have to try then)

First of all: thank you.
I tried the first 2 Steps and it didn't change anything, so i'll now try to use quicktime on a new user.

Launch Apple's GarageBand software once That fixes a problem that crops up on recent Mac hardware where the sound settings can get screwed up, preventing audio from some applications.
