Hi,

I use webshots on my work PC and find the ability to download 5 wallpapers for free every day (I don't do this every day - I do work!!) and cycle them a great function.

I notice that Webshots for OS X isn't compatible with Tiger.

The alternative (I think it's called SwapTop 2.0) is a subscription-only service.

Is there a free webshots-type service for Mac (I really only want the wallpaper aquisition and swapping functions - the abilty to upload my own photos isn't so important as I'm not really that much into photography.)

You can cycle your background picture with OS X. No need to install anything.

However, you have to have the pictures first There are many dedicated desktop background sites which should satisfy anyone's need (girls, cars, art, etc.).

1 Put all pictures you want to use in one folder.
2 You go to the System Prefs, click in Desktop & Screen Saver.
3 Select Choose Folder and choose the folder which contains all your pictures.
4 Tick the checkbox on the bottom and set an interval (30 minutes or whatever).
5 Done.

Thanks OreoCookie - I didn't know swapping functionality was built in.

Any recommendations for dedicated background sites that people use regularly?
