This thread has been inspired by recent cases in which I have been pleasantly surprised to find Mac software support:

1. Walgreens Photo Center uploader plugin: User friendly way to upload local photos to the photo service. I thought I would have to resort to manual uploading, but to my surprise there is a Mac version; it works quite well. It's even iPhoto savvy.

2. Myst V Demo: Haven't played it yet, but I'm impressed that the demo came out before the PC version. (Unfortunately, the company responsible for the port was acquired.)

Those are the two I can think of right now. There was a recent magazine disc insert that listed Mac requirements before PC requirements, but I can't find where I put that CD.

Haha, yeah, that's one of the reasons why everyone should be Nintendo fans: Great Mac support.

Quickbooks -- I bought a Windows laptop shortly after Intuit announced they wouldn't develop Quickbooks for the Mac any more. After being p**ssed off at them for changing their minds, now I'm glad they have an OS X version. It's OK.

I was impressed when the Quake 3 demo came out for Mac first.
