I use OmniOutliner for nearly everything these days. I would use it to keep track of expenses, but I don't know what Quicken could do, maybe it would be all integrated and stuff. It would probably let you categorize them somehow for tax purposes. Who knows?

QuickBooks is what businesses are supposed to use. If you have a newer Mac, the New User Edition should already be installed.

yeah Quicken would be for transfering to my tax program, although i may have to hire an accountant this year.

I don't have QuickBooks. i have a quicksilver model

edit: the reviews at amazon aren't too favorable for QuickBooks. are they due for an upgrade soon?

I'm also changing to QuickBooks. I'm also using Studiometry for project tracking and invoicing; alas there's no project tracking/invoicing tool that works well together. Why not?

Anyone?
