Firefox seems to always crash when I go to a website with a streaming video (usually wmv). Is there a Firefox extention that will block all streaming video when I navigate to a webpage?

I found this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/extension...nfo.php?id=446
but it says "OSX users : MediaPlayerConnectivity will only work with FireFox 1.1 (or alpha DeerPark). And follow the instruction on my webpage," and to my knowledge Firefox 1.0.6 is the latest Mac version. So what am I to do?

Does anyone else have this problem, and what did you do to fix it? Thanks.

You can use adblock and enter the blockable element as "*.wmv", "*.asx" and "*.asf" (without quotes). That will block all media of those types.
