OK I bought Fireworks MX 2004 a while ago, and soon after support for my Wacom tablet was completely destroyed. With Fireworks 8 Macromedia has shown that they knew all along how to fix the problem that many users had for months! But they decided to use this as a FEATURE to get people to upgrade to version 8. This is the first software that I've ever felt genuinely tempted to pirate as a result. The new features that they actually did add are mediocre at best.
I miss the days before Macromedia decided to suck.

I'm put off by the two versions of Flash.

Pro and Basic... what are they Microsoft? Maybe Adobe will fix that.

Is it just me, or is no one hyped about Studio 8.

After seeing Studio MX 2004, I was not impressed at all... going from Studio MX to 8 may be something worth doing after using Flash 8.. not really sure yet. I may wait until Adobe takes the reigns and chops some heads at Macromedia. Should be quite a show... I'll hold off more likely. It looks like a less than stellar effort on their part.

What is it with no support for Mac hardly? Captivate looks like a decent program, but I'm not using a PC to get it.

So far the Dreamweaver upgrade stinks. Buggy as ever.
