Can someone explain to me exactly what the 3rd party app "main menu is meant to do.When i had my onsite repair the techie suggested i install it to run the crons.It seemed to speed things up at first but i keep getting more and more spinning beachball.I counted safari had exactly 30 bounces in the dock and apple wasnt much help over the phone.

Any advice?
