I've subscribed to a podcast. Since they release a new issue every day and the issues are rather large (>40MB) I thought I'd remove the files on my HD once I've listened to an issue.

Now, if for some reason I want to listen to an issue again even after it has been deleted, iTunes will say it can't find the file and asks if I want to re-locate it. Of course I can't do that since the file isn't on my disk anymore. However, iTunes doesn't ask if I want to re-download the podcast issue from the web. To make matters worse, it doesn't re-download the issue when I click 'Update' either.

There is a 'manual' work-around. If I delete the podcast subscription and re-subscribe, iTunes will list all issues and I can re-download the specific one, but honestly, that's a pain.

Does anybody here know how I can get iTunes to re-download a single podcast issue?

Can't you go to the site's link on the iTMS and download individual episodes?
